pDNextSteps started in 2015 with a goal to help provide fitness options for people diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Exercise has been shown to change the trajectory  of Parkinson's, and that is what we focus on. We saw the potential of what exercise can do for people with Parkinson's (PWPs), and we've built a safe, welcoming environment that has become an integral part of their daily routine, improving quality of life one workout at a time. Today, pDNextSteps is proud to be powered by Changing Parkinson's, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people with Parkinson's live their best lives through education, exercise, and community.

Founded in 2021, Changing Parkinson's has grown from a single 5K walk into a patient-led movement reaching people across the country and around the world. In addition to powering pDNextSteps, the organization produces The Secret Life of Parkinson's podcast and distributes Wish Kits to the newly diagnosed at events nationwide.
